Den (getden.io) is operated by Den Inc. We collect your name, phone number, email, and the messages you send us, and we use them only to run the service and reply to you.

We do not sell your information or share it for marketing. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number and SMS opt-in consent are never shared with anyone. If you give us your number you may receive texts from us; reply STOP any time to stop them, or HELP for help (see our Terms).

Den of Us

Den of Us (previously One Poem a Day) is a local-first iOS and Android app operated by Den Inc. It does not require an account and does not contain advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking, and nothing it sends is linked to your identity or to an advertising identifier. Your name, your note, the AI portrait you paste in, your ratings, and your poems are stored in a single file on your device. You can erase that file at any time with Start over.

Poems are written by an AI language model. Every poem is checked against safety rules before it is shown, and you can report one from the poem itself; a reported poem is withdrawn from your history and we review the report. Den of Us is not a chatbot and has no conversation feature — it writes one poem a day and nothing else.

Optional cloud writing

The app first tries to write the poem on your device. If you affirmatively turn on Cloud backup, the app may send your name, your note, the AI portrait you pasted in, and up to three of your recent poems to Den's server and on to OpenRouter and its selected model provider, solely to write that poem. Because you choose what to put in your name, note, and portrait, this text may contain sensitive information about you. Den does not retain the text of generation requests or responses. OpenRouter and model providers process that information under their own privacy and retention terms. You can withdraw consent at any time by turning Cloud backup off in the app's You screen.

Poem reports

If you choose to report a poem, the app sends the poem's title and text, its number, the reason you selected, and whether you use iOS or Android to Den. Reports are used only to investigate safety and quality problems, are not associated with an account or advertising identifier, and are automatically deleted within 90 days. Ordinary likes are kept only on your device and are never sent to Den.

Network address

When the app contacts Den's server, that server necessarily sees the IP address the request came from, and holds it briefly in memory to count requests per caller and stop abuse. It is not written to disk, not stored alongside your poems or reports, and not used to identify or profile you.

Sharing, security, and deletion

Den does not sell Den of Us data or use it for advertising. Cloud-writing data is shared only with OpenRouter and the selected model provider to generate the requested poem. Report data is handled by Den's hosting and storage providers. Data is encrypted in transit. To ask a privacy question or request deletion of a report before its automatic expiry, email support@getden.io with the report's approximate date, poem title, and platform so we can locate it.
