Child Safety Standards

Den Inc. publishes the mobile app Den of Us. This page sets out our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), as required by Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy, and explains how to report a concern to us.
Our position
We prohibit child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any content or conduct that sexualises, exploits, endangers, or grooms a minor. This prohibition is absolute. It applies to anything a person puts into our apps, anything our apps produce, and anything sent to us. There is no artistic, satirical, educational, or research exception to it.
How Den of Us works
Den of Us is a feed of short AI-made video scenes with fictional characters, on iOS, Android and the web at denofus.com. People can watch scenes, talk to a character, and make their own scenes and characters. When someone talks to a character, an AI language model replies in that character's voice.
A character's look can come from a written description or from a photo the person picks from their library. A person can record a voice for a character they made. Scenes and characters that people publish appear publicly on the feed.
There is no direct messaging, no comments, and no way for one person to contact another in the app. Accounts are optional (Sign in with Apple, Google, or a code sent by email). Den of Us is for people 13 and older.
Our Community Guidelines forbid any content that shows a minor, or anyone who appears to be a minor, in a sexual or suggestive situation.
Reporting in the app
Every scene and character made by someone else has a Report a problem option: on the scene's details sheet, and on the character's page. A report goes privately to the Den team. Block hides everything that person publishes. This is the in-app way to report CSAE concerns, and it works without leaving the app.
Reporting to us directly
To report suspected CSAE — in our apps or anywhere else connected with Den — email support@getden.io with the subject line Child Safety. Reports sent this way are treated as urgent and prioritised ahead of ordinary support. This address is our published child safety point of contact.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
What we do about a report
A person on the Den team reviews every report, and we aim to act within 24 hours. Content that sexualises or endangers a minor is removed and the person who made it is banned. We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and to any other authority required by the laws that apply to us, and we preserve the associated records as those laws require. We comply with lawful requests from child protection authorities and law enforcement.
Our responsibilities
Den Inc. adheres to Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and to applicable child safety laws in the markets where our apps are distributed. The child safety point of contact named above is maintained and monitored, and this page is kept current as our apps change.
